Steve Burns (coach)

Steve Burns is the former head men's soccer coach at the University of Michigan. As the first soccer coach in school history, he posted a 122-98-22 overall record and a 27-38-8 mark in Big Ten Conference play during his tenure.

In 2010 MIchigan won the Big Ten title, and went to the college cup (the final four of college soccer), where they lost to eventual champion Akron. The 2010 team had the best record in program history (17-5-3). He has coached five players who played professionally.

He is an alumnus himself of Michigan.
